Arjen Luovuus is a series of activating cards for older people (or any age) who like to be tactile and do things with their hands. This illustrated pack of cards has 13 different kinds of activities and tips curated by ITE-artists and Eläkeliitto.
In this project I worked as a graphic designer. My responsibilities included designing the cards and typography, illustrating the designs, layout design, designing the packaging and being in charge of the printing process.
I wanted the illustrations to look organic and handmade like, because that suited the theme very well. I painted all the illustrations by hand and created some typography along with it. Being in charge of a big project like this was challenging as well as inspiring, and I'm looking forward to doing more work like this.
