Sara Särkkä
I am a graphic designer and artist based in Helsinki Finland, specialising in illustrations and typography. After graduating from the Institute of Design during the COVID-19 pandemic I have worked as a freelancer on many different projects.
I love to create and tell stories. And that's what I'm good at. I like to look at the big picture, but I also have an excellent eye for detail. My skills in graphic design are very versatile and that's not where they end. I'm a quick learner and enjoy practicing new skills and challenging myself.
I have studied both Marketing (University of Oulu), and Graphic Design (Lahti Design Institute). I have a good understanding of business and marketing, an eye for all things visual, as well as technical know-how in the most commonly used applications and programs, such as Adobe. Like I mentioned, I like challenges, and have worked on various projects which have given me a lot experience in dealing with different kinds of clients, pushing myself out of my comfort zone and managing a tight schedule.
In my free time I enjoy drawing, painting, writing, photography, editing videos and listening to music. And I have a thing for old cars and Harley Davidsons.
I like to learn new things and challenge my mind and skills continuously. Thus, I'm always looking for new projects and clients to work with!
